Coating pipe

Anti-corrosion coated steel pipe is a composite product in which a protective coating system is applied to the internal and/or external surface of a steel pipe (SSAW/HSAW, LSAW/ERW or seamless). By combining physical barrier, chemical passivation and electrochemical protection, the coating isolates the steel from soil, water and process media, extending design life from 5–10 years for bare pipe to 30–50 years for coated pipe.
