Shanghai, China – In March, Shanghai Maxmetal Co., Ltd. completed production and dispatch of 80,879.012 meters of seamless cold-deformed steel tubes conforming to Russian standard TU 14-3R-55-2001 for delivery to Ekaterinburg via truck transport.
The order required comprehensive quality verification including 100% visual and dimensional inspection (OD, WT, length), 100% ultrasonic testing (UT), and 100% eddy current testing. Each pipe underwent rigorous mechanical property evaluations including bending, flaring, flattening, hardness, and tensile tests to determine yield strength and elongation, with chemical composition analysis for material verification.
"This TU standard order demanded meticulous testing protocols with maximum lot sizes of 200 pieces per batch," stated a Maxmetal quality engineer. "Every test result is documented in individual Mill Test Certificates, ensuring complete traceability and compliance for our Russian client's critical application."
The consignment is being transported overland by truck to Ekaterinburg, demonstrating Maxmetal's capability to manage complex logistics across the Russia-China corridor while maintaining product integrity throughout the journey.
