Shanghai, China – In August, Shanghai Maxmetal Co., Ltd. received 258 pieces (218 tons) of 473.08×12.32mm K55 BC seamless casing, into its Shanghai port warehouse facility for immediate overseas shipment via sea freight.
The consignment, featuring lengths of 11,200-11,800mm, meets API 5CT specifications for oilfield casing applications. Baotou Steel's manufacturing pedigree ensures consistent mechanical properties and dimensional precision required for demanding well construction environments.
"Having 218 tons of premium K55 casing ready in our warehouse eliminates typical production lead times," stated a Maxmetal operations manager. "This positions us to respond to urgent project requirements with immediate availability and streamlined logistics."
All pipes have undergone incoming inspection and certification verification upon warehouse entry. The material is now available for final processing, third-party inspection, and prompt vessel loading per client specifications.
